Matthew practises in the areas of labour and employment law, commercial litigation including contract disputes, class actions, human rights actions, and general civil litigation. He has just completed his LPP placement as a student at law with Waddell Phillips. During law school, Matthew was a volunteer for Student Legal Services of Edmonton – Criminal, a project leader for Pro Bono Students Canada, and President of Resolve, the University of Alberta’s dispute resolution club. Before entering the legal profession, Matthew worked for the Canada Border Services Agency, in human resources for a global oilfield services company, and as a private labour relations consultant.
Matthew has just completed his LPP placement as a student at law with Waddell Phillips and is starting his career assisting in a wide variety of civil litigation and human rights actions with senior members of the firm.
