February 11, 2019 – PEI Whistleblowers Commence Action —
Three former whistleblowers in the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program have commenced an action against various parties associated with the Program who allegedly disclosed their personal information in an effort to discredit or silence them. The action alleges that the whistleblowers received retaliatory conduct as a result of their refusal to participate in questionable activities within the Program and that the defendants were involved in a conspiracy to destroy the whistleblowers’ reputations and undermine their safety.
